La Residenza in Farnese, your home in Rome, offers a pleasant stay with a friendly homely atmosphere and the charm of an ancient house.
At 59 Via del Mascherone, between Piazza Farnese and Via Giulia, stands the Residenza in Farnese Hotel. The building belonged, in times past, to the Teutonic Knights Military Order of the Blessed Virgin. In the 18th Century the palace became property of the Sinibaldi Family who restored the façade in its original style giving to it more prestige and importance.
At the beginning of 19th Century the palace was bought by the Church and became the seat of the Ecclesiastical Institute for the formation of young new priests; following this different use of destination, the building was adapted to the requirements of a religious community and since then its architectural structure remained unaltered.
